I’m so sorry for being so dead here (and everywhere else), I really have no idea what am I doing, especially with my art .__.;; I’ll try to start filling it here again and in the meantime learn stuff for those scary final high school exams.
I don’t know what I’m doing anymore so I just randomly doodled and colored Siva.
A little celebratory doodle! Because I got ending for this story that:
1) isn’t extremely depressing like the current one
2) makes sense
3) doesn’t affect plot and overall feel of the story
4) makes Siva kind <3 (not really…)
I’m still not 100% sure about it but I’m really glad I don’t have to use the depressing one because it’s like…no hope for you and stuff. It makes me question if the story worth telling and I wasn’t even able to keep writing. I still want to finish the draft by the end of this summer xD
I’ve been kinda out of sorts lately both with my art and myself in general and spent most of time experimenting with everything, so here’s a page I actually like. Various architecture parody attempts, Naryas and fish…pretty much as usual. That, or forests.
…I love drawing cities.
Anyway, looking at this I wish I got some good toned paper, because it makes interesting stuff with white pencil :>
Forest Kwiri! Because I really, REALLY want to go to the forest and I really, REALLY don’t want the snow outside.
Fun fact: I have ridiculous amount of thumbnails for this picture but at least unlike some other I managed to finish this without feeling it’s completely wrong. Also, where did all my patience with digital art go @__@
As a little break from forest Kwiris and stuff (which I’m still drawing) here is Narya with fish. Which…is another category of often used themes but oh well.
I still can’t draw fish >__>
Little test how could watercolor comic look. Not that I had any particular idea except doing blue treepeople xD I should probably learn how much masking fluid I need to add on borders at first place right after I get some plot.
I wish it was already spring so I could go to the forest ;_;
I got this awesome permanent mount in JD few days ago from a friend for making him happy :”D It’s so pretty, I just had to draw it ;u;
Forest Kwiris. How very unexpected from me. I’m in the mood when I want to draw trees and Kwiris like…EVERYWHERE.
In other news, I got accepted at art school : D The best thing is that two more friends I really wanted there were accepted too. Next year is going to be AWESOME.
My entry for COAD group contest at DA “What if they were humans” featuring two mischievous ravens Rip and Rek. I’m kinda happy with Rip, the boy, though not the whole picture ._.
Random shapes! Heavily inspired by this awesome post even though I already tried this before, just not with so strict shape lines. Tried 1 page of sketchbook one day because I liked the idea and following day somehow did 3 more pages (oh boy…). It’s fun and relaxing and also a bit challenging *__*
I kinda forgot this happened xD I might redo it though, it was supposed to be more blueish and stuff and this has nothing I wanted it to have. Sad times.
Kind Tenrises who are helping me to fill my shiny new small sketchbook and also serves as experiments for a bigger piece. And a reminder that I still don’t know how to draw sparse hair. I’m strong believer that he has some hair on his burned skin, because in the book wasn’t anything like he is half bald xD
